Dear Friends,

Spring has arrived at Deer Hollow Farm - and with it, new life and joy! If you’ve visited the barnyard recently, you’ve seen more than a dozen lambs and kid goats frolicking in the corrals. You may have even noticed a special new addition, Sage, a beautiful cross between a Wensleydale and a Blue Faced Leicester sheep. These new additions are sure to delight and inspire curiosity in visitors of all ages.

From goats and lambs to pigs, cows, chickens, rabbits, ducks and geese, our animals are the backbone of the Farm. They not only bring job to thousands of visitors each year but also play a vital role in our environmental education programs - teaching children and adults to appreciate the gifts of the land the importance of compassionate stewardship.

Caring for our animals - feeding them, providing medical attention, and acquiring new additions - costs approximately $45,000 each year. As a 501(c)(3), Friends of Deer Hollow Farm provides 100% of this funding through the generosity of supporters like you. This year we are aiming to rebuild and grow our Animal Trust Fund to ensure long-term security and care for our beloved animals. Our goal is to raise $100,000 by the end of the fiscal year. Thanks to you, we have already raised $61,802.77. Now, we need your help to raise the remaining $28,197.23 by the end of the fiscal year on 30 June 2025.

Your support - at any level - helps ensure that Deer Hollow Farm remains a place of learning, wonder and connection with nature for years to come. Thank you for your support.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has already contributed to the Animal Fund - we are deeply grateful. If you haven’t had a chance to give yet, there is still time to make a difference. Every gift big or small, helps us care for the animals and continue the educational program that make Deer Hollow Farm so special. Thank you for being part of our farm family.
