Caring for our animals - feeding them, providing medical attention, and acquiring new additions - costs approximately $45,000 each year. This year we are aiming to rebuild and grow our Animal Trust Fund to ensure long-term security and care for our beloved animals.
Our goal is to raise $100,000 by 30 June 2025. Thank you for your support and for being part of our Farm Family!

Welcome!

Deer Hollow Farm is one of California’s few remaining working homestead farms, open to the public for free 5 ½ days per week. Closed Mondays with a half day on Wednesday, closing at 1pm.

The farm is located in the Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve, nestled in the foothills of Los Altos. Google Maps Link here.

The farm attracts around 130,000 visitors and 5,000 school children annually. It offers seven weeks of youth camps each summer and is home to 75-100 farm animals.

Deer Hollow Farm is made possible through a collaborative partnership model involving:

The partnership, while complex, has persisted for decades and allows each agency to focus on what it does best and provides greater stability in preserving the farm for future generations.
